No. DayByDay tracks outcomes — weight, body composition, doses, sleep, vitals — not inputs like calories or food. It works alongside MyFitnessPal, Lose It!, MacroFactor, Cronometer, or any food tracker you already use.
Is DayByDay for Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Zepbound users?
Yes. DayByDay supports every major GLP‑1 medication: Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, Victoza, Trulicity, Rybelsus (oral semaglutide), and compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. The app tracks dose level, titration history, injection sites, pen storage, refills, and prior-authorization renewals.
What happens after I reach my goal weight?
DayByDay switches into maintenance mode. The Goal Progress card is replaced with a Maintenance Range card that tracks drift from goal, in-range streaks, 30-day variability, and days at goal. Milestones switch to maintenance milestones at 30, 90, 180, 365, and 730 days at goal.
Can DayByDay help with weight regain?
Yes. If your weight drifts back above your maintenance band, DayByDay gently flags it and surfaces comeback-oriented guidance — re-engaging titration plans, protein targets, and weekly weigh-in cadence. The AI Coach changes tone to support a comeback, not lecture you.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Every database table has row-level security scoped to your account. Data is encrypted at rest. There are no ads, ever. Your data is never sold or used for advertising. You can delete everything with one tap.
Does it work with Apple Watch or the Wellue O2 Ring?
Yes. DayByDay syncs weight, sleep stages, steps, active calories, heart rate, HRV, VO2 max, blood oxygen, and body temperature from Apple Health. The O2 Ring (Wellue / Viatom) can be imported separately for detailed overnight oxygen data.
How does the AI Coach work?
Every morning, the Dayo AI Coach (powered by Anthropic Claude) reads your last 30 days of weight, sleep, exercise, GLP‑1 doses, blood glucose, and mood data and writes 1–3 plain-language insights. Every claim is backed by a real fact from your data — tap View evidence to see the underlying numbers. You can exclude any data category per-source.
Is there an Android version?
DayByDay is currently iPhone-only. Health Connect sync is in place; full Android release is in progress.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your Apple ID subscriptions. The 14-day free trial requires no credit card upfront for full feature access.
Does DayByDay give medical advice?
No. The AI Coach is informational, not medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions. The missed-dose protocol surfaces the FDA-label guidance for your medication so you can make safer decisions in between provider visits.
