Common Questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by your device's app store, not by DayByDay directly.
  • iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → DayByDay
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → DayByDay
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all health data. We recommend exporting your data first via Settings → Export Data.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Export Data to download CSV files for any data category, or generate a PDF health report to share with your provider.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Your 14-day trial gives full access to all features. When it ends, you can subscribe to keep premium features, or continue with the free tier (basic weight and measurement tracking). Your account and data are retained as long as you remain active.
How does Apple Health / Health Connect sync work?
DayByDay can sync with Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android). You control exactly which data types are shared. Go to Settings → Apple Health (or Health Connect) to manage permissions for each data type. No health data is shared with third parties.
Is my health data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest using row-level security — your data is isolated and only accessible to your authenticated account. We never sell, share, or use your health data for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is DayByDay a medical device?
No. DayByDay is a personal health tracking tool for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by the FDA. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider before making health decisions.
How do I exercise my privacy rights (GDPR / CCPA)?
DayByDay provides self-service tools for most privacy rights:
  • Access & portability: Settings → Export Data (CSV or PDF)
  • Correction: Edit your profile in Settings → Edit Profile, or edit entries directly in each tab
  • Deletion: Settings → Account → Delete Account
